• Advocacy – To amplify the voices of those living with epilepsy and educate society on seizure recognition to build understanding and inclusion.
• Impact – To contribute to research progress, expand understanding of epilepsy support, and create long-term change.
About the Founder
Auraclipse was founded by Monica Lopez-Morales, an advocate for epilepsy education, educator, and creator of the RESET training framework. Drawing from more than four decades of lived experience, Monica’s work focuses on transforming personal insight into practical education that fosters community support and helps individuals recognize seizures with knowledge and compassion.
What began as personal advocacy has grown into Auraclipse — a mission-driven initiative dedicated to advancing epilepsy awareness, seizure recognition, seizure safety education, and community support. Rooted in lived experience, Auraclipse develops programs that empower individuals, organizations, and communities with knowledge, preparedness, and support through initiatives such as RESET training, community gatherings, storytelling platforms, and epilepsy education programs.
WHY THIS WORK MATTERS
Millions of people live with epilepsy, yet many communities still lack basic awareness about seizure recognition and how to respond. Auraclipse exists to change that. Through epilepsy education, community support, and advocacy, Auraclipse works to build environments where people living with epilepsy are understood, supported, and safe.
